"League of Legends: Two Towers" won multiple Emmy Awards judges individual awards

"The Battle of Two Towers" is one of the most popular series on Netflix in 2021. It has been well received not only by "League of Legends" players, but also by non-player audiences and critics. Recently, the series has achieved greater success and won multiple awards at the 2022 Emmy Awards.

As a juried selection of individual achievement awards for animation were announced, A Battle of Two Cities took home three separate awards for its strikingly unique animation.

Episode 7, “Little Things, Big Saviors,” received an award for color script artist Anne-Laure, episode 4, “Happy Evolution!”, received the Best Art Direction award for Julien Georgel, and episode 6, “When the Walls Fall,” brought an individual award to background designer Bruno Couchinho.

Of course, "Two Cities" will still compete for the most important Emmy Award for "Outstanding Animated Series". Its competitors include "Rick and Morty", "Bob's Burgers", "The Simpsons" and Marvel's "What If...?"

The Emmy Awards ceremony will be held on September 12, and the winners of the major awards will be announced then.

The Battle of Two Cities premiered on Netflix in November 2021. Following its success, a second season of the show is in the works. Currently, an official premiere date has not been announced, but it is expected to air sometime in 2023 or 2024 at the latest.
