"Spirited Away" will be re-screened in Taiwan from August 5

On June 1, the film "Spirited Away" directed by Hayao Miyazaki announced that the digitally restored version will be re-screened in Taiwan, China starting from August 5.

Spirited Away is hailed as Hayao Miyazaki's "peak work" and is also hailed as a masterpiece that can be appreciated by both children and adults. The film has been well received since its release in 2001. Characters such as Chihiro, Haku, and the Faceless Man have become cultural symbols and have influenced many filmmakers.

Tian Xiaopeng, the director of "The Return of the Great Sage", once commented on "Spirited Away" when it was released in mainland China, saying that every time he watched "Spirited Away", he felt that it was far beyond his reach, and it motivated him to create better works.
