The Indian version of "Forrest Gump" officially previews the famous scenes and lines

Recently, the official trailer of Aamir Khan's new film "Asin" was released. The film is a remake of Tom Hanks' classic film "Forrest Gump", and various famous scenes and lines are reproduced. Aamir Khan said that they spent a month shooting nine scenes. He traveled to different corners of India, running from the tea gardens in southern India to the snow-capped mountains in the north.

Official announcement:

"Asin" is directed by Advait Chandan, the director of "Secret Superstar". "3 Idiots" heroine Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan will co-star again. It will be released in India on August 11.

Eric Roth, the screenwriter of the movie "Forrest Gump", and Winston Groom, the author of the original novel, participated in the script writing of "Asin". With a screenwriter familiar with Indian history to frame the story and the original screenwriter to control it, "Asin" will definitely retain the inspiration of the original work while having an Indian flavor.
