Star Wars animated series Jedi Tales will be available on Disney+ this fall

The original Star Wars animated short series "Jedi Stories" will be launched on Disney+ in the fall of 2022. Each story in the series is centered on the Jedi Knights of the prequel era, and many favorite characters will return to voice over.

"Tales of the Jedi" is set in the prequel period, and each episode tells a different story. Not only will it tell the stories of Ahsoka and Count Dooku at different stages of their lives, but Liam Neeson will also return to voice Qui-Gon Jinn.

Tales of the Jedi will consist of six episodes, three of which focus on Count Dooku and three on Ahsoka.

The Ahsoka series will span her life and will offer glimpses into her childhood, her time with Anakin Skywalker during the Clone Wars, and facing her interrogators following Order 66.

The Count Dooku series will have a similar format, but will focus on his life as a Jedi Knight before he turned to the dark side. Liam Neeson will appear in the Count Dooku story, and the series will even feature a young Qui-Gon Jinn, voiced by Liam Neeson's son Michael.
