Fantastic Beasts: A Dumbledore Story postponed to June 7

Today (April 19), the official Weibo account of the Fantastic Beasts film series announced that the Chinese theater release of Fantastic Beasts: Beyond Dumbledore will be extended to June 7. The film will continue to be directed by David Yates, written by J.K. Rowling and Steve Kloves, with Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler and others returning to star, and Mads Mikkelsen joining the cast to play Grindelwald.

The film is set around 1930 and tells the story of Dumbledore realizing that the powerful dark wizard Grindelwald is trying to seize control of the magical world, so he entrusts magical zoologist Newt to lead an excellent team to carry out a dangerous mission against Grindelwald. They will also encounter new and old magical animals.
