No pay! Tough guy Alan Ritchson offers to play Batman

Alan Ritchson, the muscular man who became famous for the hit American TV series "Jack Reacher", has spoken out on social media many times, recommending himself to DC and hoping to play Batman. Recently, he called on DC again in an interview with "Wired" magazine, hoping to play Batman in the new DCU, even without any salary.

Alan Ritchson is an American actor, model and singer. In 2022, he was chosen to play Jack in the Amazon Prime TV series "Jack Reacher", and has been in the series ever since. In terms of movies, his works include "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" (2013), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" (2014), "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" (2016) and "Fast and Furious 10" (2023).

The DCU is undergoing a reboot and reorganization under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, and the new Batman actor has not yet been officially announced.

In the previous DC Extended Universe (DCEU), Batman was played by Ben Affleck, who made his debut in 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and continued to star in films such as Justice League. However, with the end of DCEU and the reboot of DCU, Ben Affleck's role as Batman has basically come to an end.

In addition, in the movie "The New Batman" (2022), which is independent of DCEU, Batman is played by Robert Pattinson. This movie belongs to a separate universe and has nothing to do with the new DCU main line, but Pattinson's performance has been well received and a sequel is also planned.

As for the new DCU, Gunn has said that Batman will be a key character in future projects, but there is no official news to confirm the actor. Although Alan Ritchson actively recommended himself, DC has not yet responded to his proposal. Therefore, the current Batman in the DCU is still an unresolved issue.
