'Halo' TV series sets Paramount+ ratings record

The live-action "Halo" drama is now airing, and although the audience's reviews are mixed, Paramount said the drama has set a record for Paramount+ ratings.

Paramount said that the live-action "Halo" set a record for the platform's highest-rated series premiere within 24 hours of its broadcast. Although the exact number of viewers and playback volume were not announced, the previous highest-rated Paramount+ series was "1883," the prequel to "Yellowstone," which was watched by 4.9 million people on the first day of its broadcast. The live-action "Halo" has obviously broken this data.

Tanya Giles, executive of Paramount+, said: "Turn Halo into a live-action streaming series is one of Paramount's most valuable efforts to date. We are very excited about the enthusiastic response from fans after the debut of the series, and we can't wait for fans to experience more stories about this incredible universe." Currently, the second season of the live-action Halo series has been confirmed.
