Daniel Radcliffe: I don't want to go back to film Harry Potter movies for now

Daniel Radcliffe recently said that he is not ready to return to the magical world of Harry Potter, and the movie version of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is not something he is particularly interested in at the moment.

Daniel said that "Star Wars" fans had waited 30 to 40 years for the actors to return to play their old roles in the reboot movie ("Star Wars: The Force Awakens"), and he had only been away from the world of "Harry Potter" for 10 years. If he were to go back to film again, it would be a big change to his current life, and he has no plans to do so for the time being.

Daniel Radcliffe's latest work is the comedy "Lost City" co-starring with Channing Tatum and Sandra Bullock, which will be released in North America on March 25.

Lost City

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child was originally a stage play performed in the West End of London, England. It is divided into two parts, based on the original story by Jack Thorne, J.K. Rowling and John Tiffany, and written by Thorne. It was officially performed on July 30, 2016.

As a new wizarding world story launched after nearly a decade, the content of the stage play was released on November 18, 2016 with a script that had not been adapted into a novel, and became the eighth episode in the Harry Potter series. The story focuses on Harry Potter, who is about to enter middle age, and his struggles and life journey in the British wizarding society.

The script is set in 2020, but the story begins in 2017. 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, a series of events occurred between Harry Potter, now an employee of the Ministry of Magic, and his son Albus Severus Potter.
