The domestic release date of Keigo Higashino's novel Kidnapping Game is December 23, 2022

Today (March 17), the crime thriller "Kidnapping Game", starring Peng Yuchang, Hu Bingqing, and Yao Lu, adapted from Keigo Higashino's novel of the same name, is scheduled to be released nationwide on December 23, and the release trailer and poster have been released.

In the trailer, Lu Fei, played by Peng Yuchang, is tied to a chair, with his mouth twitching and his nose running. Someone uses a pen to circle various organs on his body and shouts out the corresponding prices. In the poster, Peng Yuchang is alone with his head covered by a black cloth, and the names of various organs and their corresponding prices are written on the glass in front of him. The film is directed by Zhang Zhe and tells the story of Lu Fei (played by Peng Yuchang) who owes Qin Haipei (played by Yao Lu) a huge amount of gambling money in the casino and meets his daughter Qin Xiaoyao (played by Hu Bingqing) who is about to run away from home.
