Nine nominees for the 26th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award announced

Today, February 21st, the Osamu Tezuka Cultural Award, the most famous and authoritative award in the Japanese comics industry named after the God of Japanese comics, officially announced the nine candidates for the best award. After more than two months of review, the final winners will be announced in April, so stay tuned.

• The Tezuka Osamu Cultural Award is a manga cultural award in memory of the Japanese and even the world's manga master, Mr. Osamu Tezuka. It is hosted by the Asahi Shimbun and was first held in 1997. This year is the 26th. The award aims to discover the best talents and works of the new generation of Japanese manga. It is recognized as the highest level award in the Japanese manga industry. The first winner was "Doraemon".
