Paramount has announced that Baby Shark — the catchy nursery rhyme that is also currently the most-watched YouTube video in history — will be made into a full-length film set for release in 2023. This movie is not the first time that Baby Shark has appeared on the big screen: Netflix previously released the hour-long Pinkfong and Baby Shark's Space Adventure in the United States. The upcoming movie will be released in theaters around the world. Currently, there are no other details about the film, but it is known that it will be an animated film and will be co-produced by Nickelodeon Animation and Pinkfong. The original "Baby Shark" video became the first YouTube video to surpass 10 billion views last month, and in addition to the newly announced movie, it has already spawned a spinoff TV show, "The Baby Shark Show." |
