Deadpool vs. Wolverine breaks the record for first-week digital sales of R-rated movies in the United States held by John Wick: Chapter 11

After becoming the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, Deadpool & Wolverine broke another record when it surpassed John Wick 4 to become the highest-grossing R-rated film in its first week in the US, one week after its release on digital platforms.

The film is the third installment in the series and has grossed $1.321 billion on a budget of $200 million. It ranks above Joker, Oppenheimer, and its predecessors Deadpool and Deadpool 2 in the box office rankings for R-rated films. The film currently has a 78% approval rating from critics and a 94% approval rating from audiences on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film is available now on digital, and will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 22. In addition to the digital version, it is also available on Amazon's streaming service Prime Video.
