Riot has more stories to tell after The Battle of Two Cities

The series has set a record as the most expensive animated series in history, costing $250 million for just two seasons, but it has also been a huge success, loved by fans around the world.

Marc Merrill, co-founder of developer Riot Games, recently posted on social media that although The Battle of Two Cities will end in Season 2, Riot has plans to launch more works in the future. On Twitter, Merrill responded to a fan's question, questioning why The Battle of Two Cities will not have a third season or even more, and he said that the team "still has a lot of stories to tell."

A few weeks ago, he defended the high budget of A Battle of Two Cities, saying that the well-made game was a response to the time, effort, and money that players put into the League of Legends game, and that he was "very happy" with it.

The show's creators Christian Linke and Alex Yee also revealed in an earlier interview that the show was originally planned to have only two seasons, and they did not deny the possibility of other works in the future.
