Star Wars: Waitress cast slams Disney for not standing up for actors

The first season of the TV series "Star Wars: Bellboy" was completed in July, and Disney canceled its renewal of the series due to the worst reputation in the history of the "Star Wars" series and unsatisfactory ratings.

However, one of the actors in the show, Judy Turner-Smith, who plays Matron Anisia (the actor who contributed the amazing scene of using the Force to get pregnant), recently mentioned the controversy caused by "Star Wars: Waitress" in an interview with foreign media, and believed that "this is really unfair."

"When actors are inundated with racism and nonsense online, they (Disney) have to stop being silent," Turner-Smith said. "It's not fair to say nothing. It's really not fair."

Turner-Smith also expressed a different opinion on Disney's cancellation of Star Wars: Waiter. She believes that Disney or other studios should "stand their ground" and confirm whether revenue will be lost by issuing a "very formal and solemn statement" because she believes that "people of color, especially black people, account for a large proportion of purchasing power."

In response, the foreign media "The Escapist" speculated that the "unfair treatment" suffered by the actors of "Star Wars: Waiter" may be related to the fact that those in power want to distance themselves from the show. The show was also removed from Disney (all its products), and then put back on the shelves due to strong opposition from fans.
