Hideaki Anno announced a new plan to launch a spin-off of "Space Battleship Yamato" in 2025

The studio of EVA's biological father Hideaki Anno has not had any new news for a long time since the completion of EVA. Recently, the official announced that it has obtained the official authorization of "Space Battleship Yamato" and is scheduled to launch a new derivative animated film in 2025. Stay tuned.

"Space Battleship Yamato" is one of the representative works of Japanese manga master Leiji Matsumoto. It started broadcasting TV animation in 1974, and then launched many animated films until today.
It is reported that the story of the new "Space Battleship Yamato" spin-off work planned by Hideaki Anno will be locked on the plot between "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" released in 2012 and "Space Battleship Yamato Eternal REBEL 3199" released in November 2024.
