Keiko Nobumoto, screenwriter of 'Cowboy Bebop' and 'Macross Plus', dies

Keiko Nobumoto, screenwriter of popular works such as "Cowboy Bebop", "Tokyo Godfathers" and "Macross Plus", died of esophageal cancer on December 1, 2021 at the age of 57. Screenwriter Dai Sato confirmed her death on Facebook. Family and friends held a private funeral for her on December 4.

Keiko Nobumoto has written scripts for many popular anime works over the past few decades, including "Carol and Tuesday", "Wolf's Rain" and "Space Dandy".
