P1S "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" Kusanagi Motoko 1/4 statue priced at $1599

Today, the famous model manufacturer Prime1Studio launched a new product, the "Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045" Kusanagi Motoko 1/4 statue, priced at US$1,599 (approximately RMB 10,200) and is expected to be shipped from February to May 2023.

Designed by character designer Ilya Kushinov and inspired by the talented artists at Prime1Studio’s passion for Ghost in the Shell, Major Kusanagi Motoko is rendered pixel-perfectly. Soft, vivid coloring gives the Major’s face a refined, nuanced feel. Astride her personal chariot in her uniform, the leader of Section 9 is recreated to the best of her anime pedestal, making her look like she’s stepped straight from a Netflix series. Two interchangeable left-hand accessories are provided, one showing the Major’s hand hanging at her side in a relaxed position, the other showing her with her gun pointed toward the sky.

As for Tachikma, who is always by the Major's side ready to lend a helping hand, Prime1Studio has spared no effort to reproduce this naive but sharp and reliable walking vehicle. Matching with the Major, the statue of Tachikma is very imposing and attractive. Tachikma is equipped with two sets of arms, one set is a double mechanical arm raised in the air, showing Tachikma's childish side, and the other set is in a state of facing the enemy head-on, with the 7.62x51 mm light machine gun in Tachikma's arms ready to go.

The P1S base with Major Kusanagi and Tachikoma is set to a street destroyed in the battle. This choice fully creates a nostalgic aesthetic atmosphere. At the same time, the use of blue transparent resin further demonstrates the iconic sense of technology of this work.
