After the news of the project establishment of "New Fight Back to School" was exposed, many people associated it with Stephen Chow's classic "Fight Back to School" in 1991. Judging from the plot synopsis, the film does not seem to have a direct connection with the previous work, but the leading actor of the film, Huang Yishan, is the actor of "Huang Xiaogui" in "Fight Back to School".
