James Bond filmmaker Barbara Broccoli says the search for Daniel Craig's successor will begin next year (2022). According to Deadline, the two producers of the "007" movie said that they will not consider Daniel Craig's James Bond replacement before 2022. "We are not thinking about it at all. We want Daniel to have his own celebration time. Next year we will start thinking about the future." Broccoli also praised Craig for bringing out different facets of the character, allowing them to "really explore Bond's emotional life and get into the depths of the character, the complexity and the conflicts of Bond." Daniel Craig first tried out Bond in the 2006 film Casino Royale, and then starred in 2008's Quantum of Solace, 2012's Skyfall and 2015's Spectre. Daniel Craig's 007 films have grossed more than $3.1 billion at the box office, and his final film, No Time to Die, will be the longest 007 film ever. |
