Demon Slayer Season 2 "Yuukaku Arc" will be aired on December 5

Based on the manga by Eyoharu Gotouge, the second season of the TV anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, "Yuukaku Arc", will begin airing in Japan on December 5. In addition, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train, which was originally released as a theatrical version, will be re-released as a TV anime version with new graphics starting on October 10.

The story of "Demon Slayer" is set in the Taisho era of Japan. An ordinary rural boy named Kamado Tanjiro makes a living by selling charcoal. One day, he went down the mountain to sell charcoal. When he returned home, it was already dark. The kind-hearted grandfather Saburo let him stay overnight. The next day, he returned home to find that his family had all been slaughtered, leaving only Nezuko with some warmth. However, she seemed to be different from usual. In order to find a way to save his sister, Tanjiro embarked on an adventure to slay demons.

Before the second season started, the official also announced that "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train" will be broadcasted in the form of a new TV animation, with a total of 7 episodes. In addition to the content presented in the original theatrical version, the first episode will show the mission process of Rengoku Kyojuro on the way from the headquarters to the Mugen Train, and between the second to the seventh episodes, about 70 new pictures and new music performances will be added.
