The opening credits of the animated series "Blade Runner: Black Lotus" jointly created by Adult Swim and Crunchyroll have been released and will be broadcast this fall. The story is set in 2032, with a total of 13 episodes in the first season, each about 30 minutes long.

The game is set in Los Angeles in 2032, and the story takes place between "Blade Runner" and "Blade Runner 2049". The protagonist Elle is a replicant codenamed "Black Lotus". She seems to have escaped from her creator and lost her memory. There are many scenes of her being chased in the trailer.

The first season of Blade Runner: Black Lotus is co-produced by Alcon Entertainment and Sola Digital Arts, with Ghost in the Shell co-director Shinji Aramaki and Kenji Kamiyama and Cowboy Bebop director Shinichiro Watanabe serving as creative producer.
