"Transformers 7" plot synopsis released, release date expected to be postponed

Last week, Paramount Pictures submitted a new copyright application for the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Power Warriors to the U.S. Copyright Office. The applicant includes a brand new synopsis (highlighting the Scourge) and several other details. The entry shows an estimated publication date of December 2022. The estimated completion date has been adjusted to June 2022, while the previously announced release date is June 24, 2022 in North America, so it is very likely that the release will be postponed.

In a film rights application, the Estimated Publication Date is the estimated release date of the film. This applies to all film rights documents (see attached: Additional Film Records for Paramount Pictures' Dungeons & Dragons and Marvel Studios' The Eternals).

According to ROTB's rights, it is very likely that Transformers: Rise of the Power Rangers will indeed be delayed. Following the box office decline of G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes, Paramount immediately cancelled the September release date of Clifford the Big Red Dog. The current situation is likely to affect the completion of the seventh live-action Transformers movie. This is also indicated by the "expected completion date"; this refers to the expected completion date of post-production. The film is expected to be completed in June 2022.
