According to foreign media reports, Quentin is currently planning to make a Django/Zorro crossover movie based on DC Comics. The original comic book was written by Quentin himself, and the story will continue from "Django Unchained". After Django's wife Broomhilda was settled in Chicago, Django looked for work all over the United States. During the journey, he met Zorro, and the two traveled together to enforce justice. The official plot synopsis is, "A few years after the events of Django Unchained, Django continues to work as a bounty hunter. He is a wanted man in the East Coast, so he begins his journey west. After safely placing his wife Broomhilda in Chicago, he sets out on the road again, sending her money when he completes a job. By chance, he meets the elderly, weathered Diego de la Vega, also known as Zorro, and is immediately attracted to Zorro's unusual personality. This is also the first rich white man who is not interested in Django's skin color, and he can fight. He became Zorro's hired bodyguard, and in order to rescue the natives, he was involved in a battle and found that it was not only black people who were enslaved. During this journey, he learned a lot from the old Zorro (he is a bit like the dentist back then), and even on some occasions, he put on Zorro's mask and waved a whip! " After the "Sony hack" in 2014, there were reports that Sony was interested in developing this film. Quentin also wrote to Sony Pictures Chairman Amy Pascal to express his interest. Five years have passed. I don't know how much he will be involved in this new film. Will this be Quentin's tenth directorial work? Or will he only be a producer or screenwriter? Let's wait and see. |
