The Witcher crew adds intimacy coordinator, season 2 will have more sexual descriptions

Whether it is the original novel or the game adapted by CDPR, The Witcher series contains a lot of descriptions around sex, and many of them have become classic scenes that fans love to talk about. Obviously, Netflix's production team will not let this go. According to the latest report, the "Witcher" team has added an "intimacy coordinator" to the crew, and there may be more intimate behavior in the second season.

The new intimacy coordinator is Lizzy Talbot, who can be seen in many dramas from producers such as HBO and Netflix. The so-called "intimacy coordinator" usually plays a role similar to behavioral guidance in the crew. However, in scenes involving sexual behavior, he will ensure the safety and comfort of both actors and clearly communicate how to execute each sexual scene. With the assistance of the intimacy coordinator, the actors will be more relaxed on the set, and the filmed clips will be more real and natural.

HBO launched this position in 2018, and Netflix followed suit last year by equipping dramas involving more intimate behaviors with professional intimacy coordinators. Considering that there was no such position in the first season of The Witcher, players can expect Geralt's extraordinary performance in the second season.
