"Elf Prince" joins the "Gran Turismo" live-action movie to start filming in Europe next week

According to THR's exclusive report, following David Harbour (Stranger Things) and Archie Madekwe, "Elf Prince" Orlando Bloom will join the live-action movie adapted from Sony's "Gran Turismo" game.

The Gran Turismo live-action film, written by Jason Hall (American Sniper) and Zach Baylin (King Richard), is based on a true story. The project is described as the ultimate wish fulfillment story of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills allow him to win a series of Nissan races and become a true professional racing driver.

Madekwe will play the teenager, while David Harbour will play the retired race car driver who teaches the teenager how to drive.

Bloom will play a marketing executive eager to sell the sport of motorsport, who may also believe in the art of the sport.

The live-action Gran Turismo film will begin filming in Europe next week and is scheduled to be released on August 11, 2023.
