Bkub Okawa, a well-known cartoonist in the industry who is famous for "Popko and Pippi's Daily Life", suddenly made a public apology on X a few days ago. His latest color character illustration was accused by a large number of netizens of discriminating against black people because his skin color was not dark enough.

·Bkub Okawa recently released a new color illustration of a popular character, Iida, from "Spratune". She is still cute and lovely and has attracted a lot of likes. However, it is unexpected that there are also different voices, questioning why Iida looks like a white girl?

The author admitted that according to the original setting, after Iida was humanized, she should be a black girl, but he portrayed her skin color too brightly. He admitted that his coloring ability was insufficient and apologized to everyone.
