Netflix is trying hard to recruit Nolan to its team and is doing everything it can to do so

Netflix hopes to recruit director Christopher Nolan and is doing everything it can to do so. Scott Stuber, head of Netflix's film division, recently revealed in an interview with Variety that the contract they recently signed with director Steven Spielberg and his Amblin company gave him confidence that they might be able to attract Nolan to work with Netflix, and the two sides are already in ongoing dialogue.

“If he brings up a new movie, it’s about: Can we make it a home for it? What are we going to do to make that happen? He’s a great filmmaker, and I’ll do whatever I can,” Stuber said. “I’ve learned in this business not to have an ego. I get beaten up, I get knocked down, and I get back up.”

Earlier this year, Warner Bros. suddenly proposed a strategy that "all new films in 2021 will be released simultaneously in North American theaters and streaming platforms," which caused a great deal of discussion in Hollywood. Nolan, who has always insisted on the cinema experience, publicly expressed his disappointment with this strategy.

At that time, it was reported that Nolan's next new film was unlikely to cooperate with Warner Bros. The two sides had cooperated for 20 years, and the films they created together included "Batman Trilogy", "Inception", "Interstellar", "Dunkirk", etc., and the most recent one was last year's "Tenet".
