According to Variety, streaming giant Netflix is creating a live-action drama based on the world's top IP "Pokemon". The project is currently in the early stages of production and the casting has not yet been announced. According to Variety, Joe Henderson will serve as the editor and executive producer of the live-action series of "Pokemon". He previously served as the executive producer of another Netflix series "Lucifer". In 2019, Nintendo and Warner Bros. collaborated to launch the live-action movie "Detective Pikachu", which became the most successful movie adapted from a game.
