The animated series "Uzumaki" officially previews the original work of Junji Ito

The official trailer for the animated series "Uzumaki", which is adapted from Junji Ito's famous horror manga, has been released. It will be launched on September 28 and will be broadcast by Adult Swim, the same company that launched "Rick and Morty".

Trailer:

The series will be directed by Hiroshi Nagahama, the director of "Mushishi" and "Flowers of Evil", and will use four episodes to tell the story of a whirlpool swallowing up the town of Blackvortex. The music will be composed by Colin Stetson, the composer of "Hereditary", and the animation retains the black and white style of the original manga.
