The director of Marvel's new "Blade" movie confirmed that the film will start shooting in July next year

According to an exclusive report by the famous media Deadline, the director of the new Marvel "Blade" series film has been confirmed. Director Bassam Tariq (representative work "Muggle Mowgli") will direct the filming of this "Blade" movie, and the protagonist of the film will be played by the famous actor Mahershala Ali (representative works "Green Book" and "True Detective").

In fact, Marvel Studios was looking for a director for this film last fall. The producers initially wanted to find a director who could also serve as a screenwriter, but later they gave up this idea. Currently, the cooperation discussions have reached the final stage, but the contract has not yet been signed.

The script for the new "Blade" will be written by screenwriter Stacey Osei-Kuffour, who has written the script for HBO's acclaimed limited series "Watchmen". She is also the first black female writer to write scripts for Marvel movies. Although the release date of the work has not yet been announced, it is reported that the work will officially start production in July next year.
