Beloved Everyman Peter Confirmed to Return in Deadpool 3

According to DEADLINE, actor Rob Delaney, who played Peter, a member of the X-Force team founded by Deadpool in "Deadpool 2", an ordinary father without any super powers, has confirmed that he will return in "Deadpool 3".

There is still no promotional material for "Deadpool 3" and the plot outline has not been revealed, but it is confirmed that Deadpool will confront Wolverine played by Hugh Jackman.

Deadpool 3 will be directed by Shawn Levy, the director of The Adam Project and Playerunner, and the screenwriters of the first two works, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, will also return. Confirmed new actors include Emma Corrin, the actress of The Crown, and Matthew Macfayden, the actor of Succession.

The film will also be the first R-rated film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

After Deadpool 2, Rob Delaney has also guest-starred in many Hollywood blockbusters, including the Fast & Furious spin-off film Hobbs & Shaw, Paul Feig's Last Christmas, The Thief of Hearts, Bombshell and Detective Pikachu. The actor will also play an undisclosed role in the confirmed new Mission: Impossible film, The Reckoning: Part 1.

"Deadpool 3" is confirmed to be released on November 8, 2024.
