The length of the movie "IT 2" is revealed, it will be nearly 3 hours

Andy Muschietti, director of IT 2, confirmed to foreign media that the film will be 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes), nearly 3 hours long. This is rare for a horror movie.

According to reports, director Andy Muschietti expressed confidence in the length of the film because the audience who attended the preview had very positive reviews for the film and had no complaints.

Interestingly, there will be a director's cut of IT 2 in the future, which will have a longer set time, because the initial cut of IT 2 was 4 hours long.

IT: Chapter Two tells the story of the protagonists of the previous film as they grow up. They revisit their childhood hometown of Derry, Maine, only to discover that their childhood nightmare, the clown, has not left them far away. Bill Skarsgard will continue to play the Joker in the sequel, and the young actors from the previous film "The Losers Club" will also return, while Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Len Thorne, Jay Ryan, Xavier Dolan and others will join as the latest starring roles.

"IT: Chapter Two" will be released in North America on September 6, 2019.
