Shrek team's new animation "Shan Hai Jing: The Lilliput Kingdom" is scheduled to be released on September 19

The team behind "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Shrek the Monsters" released a release trailer, posters and stills for the animated film "Classic of Mountains and Seas: Lilliput". The film is co-directed by Kevin Monroe (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Christian Kemp, and written by Daxing Zhang, Susanna Borch and John May. It is scheduled to be released nationwide on September 19.

The story of "Classic of Mountains and Seas: The Lilliput Kingdom" revolves around the little prince Chuimu of Zhourao Kingdom. Due to his own "mistake", his father the king was turned into stone. Chuimu, together with his good friends Feiyan, Xiaoyin and Xiaoyang, embarked on a journey to find his father's tail.
