Keroro Gunso the Movie - Movie Review

"Keroro Gunso the Super Movie" was released on March 11, 2006 as a feature-length film version of the anime series based on Yoshizaki Mine's popular manga. The film is based on the story of Keroro Gunso and his friends who try to invade the Earth, but stay with the Hinata family while looking for an opportunity to do so. The film's epic scale and the introduction of new characters draw viewers in.

The story begins when Sergeant Keroro infiltrates the Hinata family and makes friends with the eldest son, Fuyuki. Keroro has become completely accustomed to life on Earth and enjoys hobbies such as building Gundam models and surfing the web. However, an unexpected crisis occurs. It is the appearance of Mirara, an ancient weapon researcher from Planet Keron, and the ultimate weapon, Kiruru. Kiruru is a terrifying being who gives living things telepathic abilities and increases conflict and hatred. The Keroro Platoon must face this new threat.

The appeal of this movie is undoubtedly the presence of the new characters Mirara and Kiruru. Mirara appears because she is attracted to the "Super Powerful Command Amplification Machine" that Kururu created, while Kiruru appears as the ultimate weapon sealed away by the ancient Keronians. These characters add new tension and depth to the story. Also, don't miss the battle scenes, which are depicted on a grand scale that only a movie can offer. In particular, the climax, which depicts a friendship on a cosmic scale, is a moving scene that will move viewers to tears.

The cast is also superb, with the voice actors' performances bringing out the charm of the characters, including Kumiko Watanabe as Sergeant Keroro, Etsuko Kozakura as Private Tamama, Jouji Nakata as Corporal Giroro, Takehito Koyasu as Sergeant Major Kururu, and Takeshi Kusao as Corporal Dororo. The cast is also full of great actors, including Tomoko Kawakami as Fuyuki Hinata, Chiwa Saito as Natsumi Hinata, Yui Aragaki as Mirara, Ogiyahagi as Kiruru, and Keiji Fujiwara as narrator.

The staff is also impressive, with a gathering of industry-leading creators, including general director Junichi Sato, director Nobuhiro Kondo, screenwriter Mamiko Ikeda, character designer and general animation director Fumitoshi Ozaki, and mecha designers Hajime Katoki and Susumu Imaishi. The high-quality animation produced by Sunrise is also impressive, with visual beauty and power that enhance the film's appeal.

The music is also wonderful, with the theme song "Keroro Dancing" sung by Ogiyahagi and toutou participating in the chorus. The insert song "VOICE OF LALAH" is sung by Keiko Han, livening up the atmosphere of the movie. The music was composed by Saeko Suzuki, Yosuke Kakegawa, and Naoyuki Motosawa, and was produced in cooperation with Victor Entertainment.

"Keroro Gunso the Super Movie" is a work that can be enjoyed not only by fans of the TV series, but also by those who are experiencing the world of Keroro Gunso for the first time. It is full of many charms, such as new characters and a grand scale that are unique to the movie, a moving story, a luxurious cast and staff, and wonderful music.
