"Kamen Rider" female employee complained about overwork and sexual harassment to Toei, but the official has not responded yet

Japanese film industry giant Toei has been embroiled in a scandal recently. A female employee from the production team of its popular special effects film "Kamen Rider" complained to the company about sexual harassment and long working hours, and said that "there are other employees who are enduring it." Toei has not yet responded.

• Common problems of large companies? Although large companies guarantee stability and have development potential, employees at the bottom usually do not have an easy life. Toei, a Japanese film industry giant founded in 1949 and one of the five major film companies in Japan, was recently exposed for an internal scandal, sparking heated discussions.

•A female victim came forward. She is currently an employee of the production team of the super popular special effects "Kamen Rider". She claimed that she was sexually harassed many times by two male employees in their 60s on the set between 2019 and February 2020. Although she later complained within the company, she did not get a satisfactory solution.

•In addition, the woman also stated that she was forced to work overtime for a long time, working 13 hours a day, and was basically denied leave. This was basically the case for three months from March 2021 to her suspension. She did not even have time to go to the hospital, which led to an anxiety attack and gastroenteritis.

•Toei has stated that it is currently investigating the matter but has not issued any specific response.
