Below, we will introduce detailed information and reviews about this work, as well as some recommended points.

Animation was produced by studio Pierrot+, directed by Akira Iwanaga, series composition by Tetsuya Oishi, and character design by Minako Shiba. story

One day, a young boy named Lag Seeing's mother is suddenly kidnapped by someone, and he ends up being delivered as a "tegami" to a friend's house far away. A national official postal worker, Gauche Suede, also known as a "tegami bee," takes the risk to protect Lag and deliver him to his destination. A few years later, Lag takes the recruitment exam to become a letter bee like Gauche, but learns that Gauche has been removed from the list of letter bees and has gone missing. This is the story of Lag's growth as a letter bee, delivering people's thoughts, and the human drama that surrounds him.

Evaluation and Impressions

Though "Kokoro Todokemasu Tegami Bachi" has a short broadcast time, it has deep themes and attractive characters. In particular, Lag's coming-of-age story is moving and leaves a strong impression on viewers. Furthermore, his meetings and partings with Gauche, and the bonds with his friends enrich the story. The animation is of high quality, and Studio Pierrot+'s technical capabilities shine through. As for the music, Kunihiko Yanagi's beautiful melodies liven up the story, and the theme songs "Hajimari no Hi" and "Hatenaki Michi" match the worldview of the work.

However, the only drawback is that it was only broadcast in one episode. If it had been expanded into a longer series, we might have been able to enjoy a deeper story. Even so, this work is short but dense in content, and gives the viewer a lot to think about.
