Character Introduction

The main characters are as follows.

■ Main Characters

Kirino Kousaka
The heroine of this work. She is a modern middle school girl who is a perfect superhuman with beautiful looks, excellent grades, and outstanding athletic ability, and even works as a model. However, she is also an otaku who loves anime and games. She studied abroad in the United States for a while to train in track and field. She is overbearing towards Kyosuke, but her attitude changes after she gives him "life advice."

Kyosuke Kousaka
The protagonist of this work. Unlike his younger sister Kirino, he is an ordinary high school boy. For a long time, he was in a state of cold war with Kirino, with neither of them speaking to each other, but their relationship began to change after they started to give each other "life advice." He has a caring personality, and in addition to giving his sister "life advice," he is also good at looking out for his junior, Kuroneko. At such times, he also shows strong-willed actions and behavior.

Black Cat
An otaku friend of Kirino's who she met at an offline meetup. She is a high school student who attends the same school as Kyosuke, but when she is wearing casual clothes, she cosplays as a character from her favorite anime, "Maschera." She behaves in a painful manner reminiscent of a chuunibyou, but she also has a domestic side, taking good care of her younger sister. She is good at games, and belongs to the game research club at high school. "Kuroneko" is her handle name, and her real name is Goko Ruri.

Saori Vageena
A female otaku friend of Kirino. She dresses like a typical otaku, with tucked-in pants, a bandana, and round glasses. She is the administrator of an SNS community, and Kirino and Kuroneko met at an offline meetup she hosted. After that, she continues to invite the two out to play, and is an incredibly caring person. Her online behavior and speech are very elegant and refined, unlike when she meets them in real life.

Ayase Aragaki
A female junior high school student who is a classmate of Kirino. She is also a model and is Kirino's best friend both at school and work. She is graceful and friendly, but she can also be ruthless in her comments and jabs at Kyosuke and other friends. She is also very opinionated and can become obsessed with the cold attitude of her best friend, Kirino.

Kanako Kurusu
Kirino's classmate. A petite junior high school girl with twin tails, she is fearless and speaks her mind. She aims to be an idol, and is talented in dancing and singing. She looks just like Meruru from the anime "Hoshikuzu☆Witch Meruru", so she sometimes cosplays as Meruru and does entertainment work.

Manami Tamura
She is Kyosuke's childhood friend and a high school student who attends the same high school. She has a very laid-back personality, speaks in a drawn-out manner, and is modest in appearance. Kirino calls her "Jimiko." She has been friends with Kyosuke for a long time and they have a comfortable relationship. She is the daughter of a Japanese confectioner, and is good at cooking and general housework.

Sena Akagi
A high school student who attends the same high school as Kyosuke. Not only are they in the same year as Kuroneko, they also belong to the same game research club. She is a fujoshi who loves BL and gay men, and often gets carried away with her fantasies. She has an older brother who is a classmate of Kyosuke's.
