Famous director Quentin Tarantino says he won't make a superhero movie

The famous director Quentin Tarantino is currently promoting his new book, Cinema Speculation. He speculated on what his future would be like. He had previously said that he only wanted to make ten films in his lifetime, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was his ninth film.

In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, the interviewer asked him if he might one day helm "the biggest box office mover right now," the mega-budget superhero movies from Marvel or DC. Tarantino responded, "You have to be an employee to make those movies. I'm not employed by anybody. I'm not looking for a job."

He said over-the-top superhero movies were creating a "similar bottleneck" to the industry as American studio musicals did in the 1960s.

However, he once wanted to take on a superhero-related job. He was also involved in filming a "Star Trek" movie, but the idea was not put into practice.
