The sequel to the classic sci-fi film "Tron: Legacy" adds two new actors

The third installment in Disney's resurrected series, TRON: Ares, has added two new actors to help lead the cast: Greta Lee and Jodie Turner-Smith.

The additions of Lee and Turner-Smith add even more star power to a cast that recently added American Horror Story and Dahmer star Evan Peters as another lead. The long-awaited sequel to TRON: Legacy also stars Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges, who will reprise his role as Flynn.

The roles of the two actresses are still unknown, but The Hollywood Reporter states that Lee will play the female lead. Lee recently appeared in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, once again voicing Spider-Man 2099's AI assistant Lyla.

Turner-Smith made her feature film debut in the 2016 psychological horror film The Neon Demon, starring Elle Fanning.

TRON: Ares does not yet have a release date, but is reportedly expected to begin filming in Vancouver in August.
