Rolling Stone reveals Kang the Conqueror has a long history of violence

Jonathan Majors, who played Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man 3, was arrested in New York on March 25 for allegedly assaulting a woman in a domestic dispute. He was later abandoned by his management company Entertainment 360 and public relations company Lede Company. Recently, after a three-month investigation, Rolling Stone magazine revealed that Jonathan Majors had a history of violence and abuse for nearly 10 years.

The lengthy report, written by Cheyenne Roudtree and Althea Legaspi, cited more than two dozen people familiar with the matter as saying that Majors had abused his past partners and was a troublemaker on the set. Majors himself strongly denied all the allegations.

Nine people familiar with the matter said Majors strangled a partner and physically and mentally abused him.

Majors physically attacked people around him for no reason at the Yale School of Drama and later acted as if he didn't care about his behavior.

Majors had conflicts with the crew on the set and bullied a staff member, making the other person angry and crying on the set. He would also use body language to threaten the staff around him.

According to foreign media Variety, more and more female victims of Majors' violence have come forward to accuse him and cooperate with the Manhattan District Attorney's Office. Several projects in which he participated have also been canceled. "Avengers 5: Dynasty of Con" starring him has been postponed to May 2026. Marvel Studios did not respond to "Rolling Stone" or announce the actor's future fate in Marvel Studios.

Anthony Mackie (the new Captain America), who also plays an important role in the future of the Marvel Universe, was recently asked about his opinion of Majors. He said: "We are a country based on 'everyone is innocent until proven guilty'. There is no court evidence to show that he has a problem. That's all I can say."
