A Star Wars Storm Trooper figurine was stolen from a Japanese store and was recovered after a year and a half

On June 23, a piece of news sparked heated discussion among netizens. A Star Wars Storm Trooper, the signature figurine of an octopus ball shop in Osaka, Japan, was recovered one and a half years after it was stolen, and it still looked strong and shiny.

According to the police, in November 2018, a theft occurred at this takoyaki shop in Nihonbashi, Osaka, Japan, and an extremely expensive large-scale Star Wars Storm Trooper figurine was lost. Later, based on surveillance footage, the police traced it to a 33-year-old man who allegedly sold it at an extremely low price of 15,000 yen. After several twists and turns, the soldier finally returned home.
