Initial D voice actor joins the race! Japan's first racing team VART is launched

In addition to their excellent dubbing skills, the voice actors of the island nation have also made forays into other fields. The first racing team in the voice actor industry, VART (Voice Actors Racing Team), was officially announced on November 2. Five famous voice actors who love racing and aspire to become racing drivers joined the team first. Let's learn about it.

VART (Voice Actors Racing Team) will be a new team formed according to the standards of professional racing. All members are voice actors from Japan. The first batch of drivers to join the team love driving very much. They include Masafumi Mima, the music director of "Initial D", who will serve as the coach and seeded player of the team; Shinichiro Miki (captain), who once played Fujiwara Takumi in "Initial D", Daisuke Namikawa (deputy captain), Kaito Ishikawa and Yu Hatakenaka.

VART (Voice Actors Racing Team) is currently in training, and its first event target is the JOY Endurance 7-hour endurance race to be held in June 2020. Stay tuned.
