Kaoru Hanawa, Kaede's childhood friend, always watches over Kaede with concern, but sometimes shows a mischievous side. Kaoru's hobby is making potpourri, and when she goes to a special place, she makes a new potpourri before going out. She senses the seasons from smells, and cherishes adding fragrance to her memories.

Sakurada Asano likes Kaede's photo that is displayed in the Hinomaru Photo Studio and they become friends. Her family runs an inn on Osaki Shimojima Island, and she lives almost alone in an apartment in Takehara. Asano, who is not good at talking, tries to express her feelings by whistling. She sometimes whistles impromptu to match her current mood or the scenery.

Norie Okazaki is a high-spirited girl who is a big fan of Kaede's younger brother, Kaori. She aims to be a pastry chef and plans to go to a culinary school after graduating from high school. Her hobby is making sweets, and she sometimes gives them original names to match the image of the sweets she makes. Although the sweets she makes are delicious, many of them are high in calories, but she herself is thin and does not gain weight no matter how much she eats.

Kanae Mitani is a high school student who attends the same school as Kaede, and is the type who thinks too much and is unable to act. The camera she uses is a PENTAX "Q".

Momoneko-sama is Kaede's favorite, a mysterious cat who lives in Takehara. He has a pinkish color and spends his days relaxing.

Miji Chihiro is a friend of Kaede who lives in Shioiri, Yokosuka City, and they attended the same school from elementary school to junior high school. Maestro is the owner of Hinomaru Photo Studio and a camera repair maestro. He has been friends with Kaede's father, Kazuma, since high school, and he is a caring and gentle watchful eye over Kaede. He has a slightly erotic side, but he is a reliable presence for Kaede.
