She lost her life in the battle against the Candy Witch, but Madoka's wish erased that tragedy and she continues to be a magical girl. Sayaka Miki is Madoka's best friend. She became a magical girl in the hope of healing her childhood friend's injury, and as much as she prayed for happiness, she accumulated curses and turned into a witch, and died together with Kyoko, but due to Madoka's wish, she did not become a witch and had a peaceful end. Sakura Kyoko is a magical girl from a neighboring town. She used to rebel against Sayaka who used magic for someone else, but she started to care about her because she was similar to her. Story and Themes

"Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Part 3 - Rebellion" depicts a deeper story and theme than the TV series and the previous movie. The story begins with Homura Akemi fighting as a magical girl in a new world. However, even though the world appears peaceful, Homura senses that something is wrong. She searches for the truth in this world where Madoka does not exist. The story gradually unfolds into the story of Homura's "rebellion."

The themes of this film are very profound and philosophical, including "hope" and "despair," "self-sacrifice" and "self-realization," and "freedom" and "destiny." In particular, Homura's actions symbolize her heart's torn between self-sacrifice and self-realization, and leave the audience deeply moved and thinking. Kyubey's presence also serves as an opportunity to reexamine the true nature of human beings, caught between hope and despair.

Visuals and Music

The film's visuals are characterized by beautiful visuals produced by Shaft's animation and an emotional soundtrack composed by Yuki Kajiura. In particular, the otherworldly design and art setting are important elements that enhance the atmosphere of the story, and have the power to draw the audience into the world of the story. In addition, the theme song and insert songs were chosen to be profound songs that reflect the theme of the story, and the fusion of visuals and music further enhances the appeal of this film.
