Netflix's official Asian channel today released the trailer for the second season of the Korean zombie costume drama "Kingdom" with Chinese subtitles. The drama will be aired on March 13. Everyone finally survived the long night and saw the sun, but unexpectedly, the zombies did not fall asleep, but instead rushed towards them with a more ferocious attitude. "Kingdom" is adapted from the online comic "God's Kingdom" and written by Kim Eun-hee, the screenwriter of the mystery drama "Signal", and directed by Kim Sung-hoon, the director of the movie "Tunnel". The story is set in the Joseon Dynasty in the 16th century and tells the story of Crown Prince Lee Cang (played by Joo Ji-hoon) who discovers that the entire country is in danger while investigating a plague epidemic. Cast members from the previous season, Bae Doona, Ryu Seung-ryong, and Joo Ji-hoon will all return, and 38-year-old Jun Ji-hyun has confirmed that she will join the cast. |
