■ Story

This is the story of a hero.

Long ago, there was a man who was bestowed with a bow by a goddess.
Once he aimed, the bow always hit its target and defeated all difficulties.
It is said that he eventually led the man to the throne.
Before long, people began calling him the "King of Magic Bullets"...

A time when human power ruled the battlefield and swords and horses were at the heart of battle.

A minor quarrel that occurred on the border between the Kingdoms of Brune and Zistaan eventually led to the outbreak of war for the first time in over twenty years, with the intentions of the greater powers being woven into it.

The Kingdom of Brune had approximately 25,000 soldiers.
In order to ensure that the commander-in-chief, Prince Regnus' first battle was a spectacular one, the King ordered troops other than his own knights to march out, and even minor nobles from the borderlands joined the ranks.

The young lord of Arthas, Tigruvurmud Vorn, was one of those who followed the king's orders and rushed to the scene with only a small group of men.

Meanwhile, the Kingdom of Jistan meets them with 5,000 soldiers.
The outcome of the match seemed already clear at this point.

However, the Kingdom of Brune made a fatal mistake.

Leading the soldiers of Zycted was Eleonora Viltaria, one of the War Princesses who was given the legendary dragon tools.
The soldiers of the Kingdom of Brune will experience for themselves the fearsome power of a warrior equal to a thousand men.

In a battlefield ruled by despair, Tigre nocked the few arrows he had left onto his bow and took aim.
The object before his eyes was the symbol of beauty and bravery - the War Princess.

Tigruvurmud Vorn, the young lord of the borderlands of the Kingdom of Brune.
Eleonora Viltaria, the war princess of the Kingdom of Zyctahed.
Little did anybody know that their encounter would become the prologue to a heroic tale that would be passed down for generations to come.

■ Main Characters

Kingdom of Brune - Tigruvurmud Vorn: "I will defeat you! To protect my people!"
A young count who rules over Alsace, a remote region in the north of the Kingdom of Brune. Having spent his childhood hunting in the nature-rich city of Alsace, he acquired exceptional archery skills. His skill is such that he can accurately hit a target 300 alsins away with a bow and arrow, which is said to have a range of 250 alsins (1 alsin is about 1m). Although he is completely illiterate in any other martial arts, he naturally has the tactical eye to make the most of a bow and arrow. However, in the Kingdom of Brune, bow users are often looked down upon as a weapon for cowards, and his skills are never appreciated. He has strong feelings for Alsace, his territory and hometown, and its people. On the other hand, he openly states that his hobbies are napping and hunting, and he has no ambition whatsoever.
Titta: "Lord Tigre is the commander, so please make sure you get plenty of rest."
A maid who serves Tigre in the Vorn household. She is Tigre's childhood friend and has lived with him like family. Their relationship is more like that of a younger sister than that of master and servant. She was originally born as the daughter of a shrine maiden and trained to become one, but she became close with Tigre after frequently visiting her aunt who worked at the lord's mansion. Currently, she is the only maid who works at Tigre's mansion on a regular basis, and is in charge of taking care of him.
・An attendant to Bertlan Tigre. He has served since the time of Urus (Tigre's father), the previous lord of Arthas, and treats Tigre with affection like a son. He also has a wealth of battle experience, and is in charge of the Arthas soldiers when they go to war.
・Mashas = Count of Aude in the north of Rodantbrune. He is a close friend of the former lord Urs and a guardian to Tigre, and is one of the few nobles who share the same values. He has a wide network of contacts and is well-known among other nobles and those from the royal capital.
Zain Thénardier He is the heir to the Thénardier dukedom. Born as the son of a great lord, he mistakenly thought he was special and grew up to be rude and distorted. He looks down on Tigre, who is close to his age and can only use a bow and arrow, and belittles him at every opportunity.
Felix Aaron Thenardie is a duke who rules over the vast territory of Nemetacum, located to the south of the Kingdom of Brune. He is not just a man of power, but also a strong warrior with an expert swordsmanship. He is a strict meritocracy who shows no sympathy to incompetent vassals or citizens, but he is also generous enough to promote talented people regardless of their background.
Maximilian Bennussa Ganelon is a duke who rules over Lutetia, located north of Brune. He is a great nobleman on a par with Duke Thénardier, and the conflict between the two is growing more tense with each passing day. He is cunning and cruel, and uses war as an excuse to impose heavy taxes and commit other cruel acts against his subjects.
・Captain of the Navarre Knights of the Kingdom of Rolandbrune. Nicknamed the "Black Knight," he is the best knight in Brune and was bestowed the sword "Durandal" by the king. His strength is said to rival even that of a warrior princess. He usually guards the borders with the Kingdoms of Asvar and Zakustan, keeping a close eye on invasions from either country.

● Eleonora Viltaria of the Kingdom of Zista: "Very well. From now on you are mine."
One of the Seven War Maidens of Zycted. She was chosen by the wind-controlling long sword "Alifar" to become a war maiden and ruled the Principality of Lightmeritz. She is nicknamed "Silver Flash Wind Maiden (Silvfrau)" because of her appearance as she dances like the wind on the battlefield. As a former mercenary, she does not care much about her position or status, and has those close to her call her "Ellen." This did not change even when Tigre tried to kill her during the battle on the Dinant Plains. She was captivated by his amazing archery skills and tried to take him as her vassal.
Rimarisha: "My goodness...how are you able to sleep so soundly as a prisoner?"
She is Eren's most trusted confidant and adjutant. Her nickname is "Rim". She has known Eren for a long time, dating back to before she was chosen as a War Princess. She has a strict and serious personality, and never calls anyone, not just Tigre, but even Eren, by their nicknames. Although she always supports Eren as his right-hand man both at the palace and on the battlefield, she is constantly nagging the free-spirited Eren. She loves teddy bears, and gives them names and dotes on them, but keeps it a secret due to her embarrassment.
Sophia Obertas: "It was the first time I'd ever been hugged by a man, and I was shocked."
One of the Seven Warrior Princesses of Zhcted. Ruler of the Principality of Polisha. Wields the staff "Zart" that can control light, and is nicknamed "Brilliant Princess of Light (Bresvet)". A beautiful and intelligent woman, she usually exudes a gentle demeanor and a calm aura. As an elder, it is not uncommon for her to mediate between Ellen and Mira, who tend to get into arguments over one thing or another. She also often travels to various countries as a special envoy, and is well-versed in various information. She also loves dragons, and is particularly fond of Ellen's baby dragon, Runie. Her nickname is "Sophie".
Lyudmila Lurie: "Please satisfy me in your own way."
One of the Seven War Princesses of Zhcted. She rules over the Principality of Olmutz, south of Lightmeritz. She wields the ice-controlling spear "Ravias," and is nicknamed "Snow Princess of Frozen Ripples (Micheria)." The title of War Princess is not normally hereditary, but the Lurie family is a rare family that has inherited the title for three generations. Because of this, she was raised with an appropriate education as a War Princess, and has a conflicting relationship with Ellen, who suddenly became a War Princess from a mercenary. She likes black tea (chai) with jam, and enjoys brewing it herself as a hobby. Her nickname is "Mira."
Alexandra Arshavin: "So the War Princess is chosen by the Dragon Tool. Thanks to that, I'm causing you trouble..."
One of the Seven War Princesses of Zhcted. The ruler of the Principality of Legnitza, she wields the twin swords "Balgren" that control flames. She is also known as "Falpuram, the Brilliant Flame Princess." She is the one who taught Ellen how to behave as a war princess, and they have sworn to protect each other no matter what. She was once the most powerful of the Seven War Princesses, but since being consumed by an illness, she has been unable to move freely and is bedridden. Her nickname is "Sasha."
Elisaveta Fomina: "If you resist too much, it'll hurt."
One of the Seven Warrior Princesses of Zhcted. The ruler of the Principality of Luvush, and the owner of the lightning-controlling whip "Valizaifu." Nicknamed "Isgrief, the Flash Princess of the Thunder Vortex." She has heterochromatic eyes called "Razillis," with a golden right eye and a blue left eye. She was originally from a noble family in Lightmeritz, but was driven out because of her "Razillis" eyes, which were considered an omen, and grew up in a poor rural village, where she was oppressed.
Valentina Glinka-Estes: "If that were to happen, it would be punishable by death for lèse majesté."
One of the Seven Warrior Princesses of Zhcted. The ruler of the Duchy of Osterode, the land furthest from Brune, and the owner of the scythe "Ezandis", said to be able to manipulate space. She is also known as the "Phantom Princess of Illusions (Zerweide)". A descendant of an aristocratic family with royal blood from Zhcted, she exudes an air of transience. She can bend space and perform spatial teleportation, which allows her to reach her destination in an instant, but as this consumes a lot of stamina, she is frail and unable to use her powers freely.
Olga is one of the Seven War Princesses of the Kingdom of Tamjistat. She is the ruler of the Principality of Brest and the owner of the great axe "Muma." She is also known as the "Ragou Moon Princess (Bardiche)." She is the youngest of the War Princesses. She has left the country with her dragon tool, and her whereabouts are unknown.

The appeal and evaluation of "The Legend of the Legendary Heroes"

"The Legend of the Legendary Heroes" is a story that combines fantasy and war history, depicting the adventures and growth of the protagonist Tigruvurmud Vorn and the war princess Eleonora Viltaria, starting with their encounter. We will take a closer look at the appeal and evaluation of this work from the following perspectives.

Story and worldview

The story of "The Legend of the Legendary Heroes" begins with an ancient legend and unfolds against the backdrop of the conflict between the Kingdom of Brune and the Kingdom of Zista. The story follows the protagonist Tigre as he meets the warrior princess Ellen and grows as they fight together. The story not only depicts battles on the battlefield, but also political maneuvering and changes in human relationships, making it enjoyable from multiple perspectives.

The worldview is rich with fantasy elements, and the special weapons and abilities of each warrior princess, known as "Dragon Tools," add depth to the story. The culture and customs of each country are also depicted in detail, drawing viewers into the world.

character

The characters in this work are full of individuality, and the charm of the war princesses in particular stands out. Each character has their own unique charm, such as Eleonora Viltaria's free-spiritedness and strength, Ludmila Rurie's calmness and strictness, and Sophia Obertas's intelligence and kindness. In addition, the main character Tigre is not only skilled with the bow, but is also portrayed with love for his subjects and consideration for his comrades, which resonates with viewers.

The acting of the cast is also excellent, especially Kaito Ishikawa as Tigre and Haruka Tomatsu as Eren, who express the emotions of their characters realistically. The other cast members also perform with voices that suit their characters, adding excitement to the story.

Animation and Music

Satelight, the animation production company, has enhanced the visual appeal with beautiful backgrounds and smooth battle scenes. The battle scenes between the warrior princesses in particular are captivating to the viewer, with their brilliant direction making the most of the characteristics of each dragon weapon.

Music is also an important element in enhancing the atmosphere of the work. The opening theme "Ginsen no Kaze" features Suzuki Konomi's powerful singing voice that brings out the adventurous spirit of the story, and the ending themes "Schwarzer Bogen" and "Ryusei Requiem" are also beautiful songs that match each scene. BGM is also used skillfully to accompany battle scenes and moving scenes, enhancing the emotions of the viewer.
