story

In the year 1604 of the Continental Era, the three-century Warring States Period came to an end on the Ferbist Continent. With the collapse of the northern power Gaz Empire, the military forces deployed were not only regular knights and soldiers, but also 620,000 wizards, saboteurs, mercenaries, and other troops, as well as a large number of magical weapons including three celestial fortresses, and special forces such as the Beast Corps and the Celestial Dragon Cavalry, and annihilated the Gaz Empire. The six major countries on the continent that had allied to attack the Gaz Empire subsequently signed peace treaties with each other, effectively declaring the end of the war. The Gaz Empire was divided and ruled, and the Forbidden Emperor's vast wealth and magical technology was managed and effectively utilized by the six countries for post-war reconstruction.

In a world where war has ended, a young man named Thor, a saboteur who has lost hope and is living a dissolute life, encounters a girl named Chaika carrying a coffin while searching for food in the forest. Thor decides to travel with Chaika and sets out on a journey with his stepsister Akari to help her achieve her goal. Chaika's goal is to collect the remains of her late father, the Forbidden Emperor Artur Gaz. However, during the journey, girls who look just like Chaika appear one after another, and multiple "Chaikas" appear in search of the body.
