■Explanation

"Hozuki's Coolheadedness" is a Japanese manga by Natsumi Eguchi that was adapted into an anime series from 2014 to 2018. The second season, part 2, aired from April to July 2018 and is a comedy-style series depicting the daily life of Hell. It centers around Hozuki, a cold-hearted aide to King Enma, and depicts the humorous lives of the residents of Hell. The anime brings out the best of the original work, providing viewers with laughs and emotions.

Although the story is set in the extraordinary setting of hell, it deals with themes that can be sympathized with in the real world, such as human relationships and work-related worries. Hozuki's strictness and humor, along with the personalities of the other characters, are exquisitely intertwined, creating a charm that draws viewers in. In addition, different guest characters appear in each episode, breathing new life into the story.

Studio Deen, the animation production company, paid particular attention to character design and background art, and realistically recreated the world of hell. In particular, Hozuki's facial expressions and movements are faithful to the image in the original work, but the addition of movements unique to anime brings out even more charm.

Music is also an important element in enhancing the atmosphere of the work, and the opening and ending songs are memorable to viewers. The opening, "Dear From Hell," humorously depicts the daily lives of the residents of Hell, while the ending, "Hotcakes in Hell," expresses the heartwarming side of Hozuki and his friends.
