Harrison Ford discusses Indiana Jones 5 at D23

The D23Expo conference showed the first trailer of "Indiana Jones 5". The lead actor Harrison Ford was present at the event to introduce the film to the audience together with the director James Mangold and the talented actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge who played the leading role:

"Thank you all for your support. This series is an incredible and magical experience for both the participants and the audience," Ford said excitedly. He pointed at Phoebe and said, "This one is particularly wonderful, and one of the factors is her."

Phoebe is a rare all-rounder in the film and television industry who can write and act. She won three awards at the 19th Emmy Awards for Best Drama, Best Actress, and Best Screenplay for "London Fleabag", and was nominated for the 2020 Emmy Award for Best Drama Series for her creation of "Killing Eve".

"The Indiana Jones movies are about mysticism and fantasy, but they also touch the human heart. We have a very wonderful story to tell and it's also a very popular movie," Ford hinted that this is the last time he will play Indiana Jones. "That's it, the last time I'll make a fool of myself for you. Thank you very much."

Phoebe felt lucky to be able to work with such a legendary figure as Ford. She complimented the octogenarian (Ford is 80 years old this year) for still being agile: "I had an unforgettable time. Filming with Dr. Jones was exhausting."

"Indiana Jones 5" also invited John Williams to compose the film (Lucasfilm Chairman on the left):

The last time the audience saw Jones's movie was fourteen years ago (Indiana Jones 4), when Ford was 66 years old. This time is not only Ford's version of Jones's curtain call, but also the first time Spielberg did not take the helm of the director, but only served as a producer.

Indiana Jones 5 is tentatively scheduled to be released on June 30 next year. The film's director, James Mangold, has directed Ford v Ferrari and Logan (first from right):

Actor Holbrook, who worked with Mangold in "Logan 3", once said in an interview: "This guy can't make a bad movie. He works meticulously."
