"Nezha: The Devil Boy Conquers the Dragon King" was officially released in Hong Kong, China recently. Friends in Hong Kong can now watch this popular "national cartoon" without having to go to Shenzhen. According to media reports, more than 500 screenings were scheduled across Hong Kong on the first day of the film's release, including the Emperor Cinemas at iSQUARE in Tsim Sha Tsui, the MCL at K11 Art House and the Broadway Cinema at MY CINEMA YOHO MALL, all of which temporarily added IMAX screenings. So far, "Nezha 2" has become the global box office champion of animated films, surpassing the original number one "Inside Out 2", which has a global cumulative box office of 12.319 billion yuan. In addition, "Nezha 2" ranks eighth on the global box office history list, only 1.1 billion yuan away from the seventh "Spider-Man: No Return".
